Love and Hate~

EBC is awesome and all, but for now I'm forcing myself to pull away from it.  ^^' I've wanted to drawing all my Pokemon couples for a while now!

I'm taking the opportunity to explain to everyone that I'm gonna be changing Cleo a bit.  I've decided that, while she's fun and all, Cleo will partially revert back to her old personality, but will still be prone to aggressiveness and random outbreaks.  She's more aware of it now though, and will often act aggressive on purpose to put herself at ease.  I'll be going more into this, but due to time being restored instantaneously across the land, she was partially freed of her primal state; partially meaning she's more of what she said before, but she's still somewhat primal.  With the help of her best friend (and eventually more than that <3) Cody she'll get through it! Though she won't ever be exactly the same as she was before.  Her primal roots run deep.

Concerning Cody, he's the type of Pokemon who will easily believe in and trust any Pokemon multiple times, no matter how many times he's betrayed, he tries really hard to be compassionate and understanding, wanting to believe that there's good in everyone, and that all Pokemon have reasonable motives leading them to do terrible things.  It's not to say that he might eventually stop being around them, or that he won't have his own doubts, but being gullible and somewhat oblivious it takes him a long time to get to that point.  It's this that causes Cody to love Cleo so much, despite her having tried to kill him the first two times they met (both in the future).  Over time they become very close, and Cody is the only one she will open up to.  All the others she distances herself from or simply gives no thought.  This is another reason why she won't revert to the kind Pokemon she was before her previous love interest betrayed her.
